.Allied Sound Productions is an ASCAP-affiliated music publishing company based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. They are home to two record labels: ASP Records and Pine Breeze Records. Here's who we are and what we do:
1. Authorized Dealerships:
o Allied Sound Productions offers a variety of musical instruments and products. They are authorized dealers for the Gold Tone family of instruments and related products, including Wood Song guitars, Earthtone calf skin drum and banjo heads, and OME banjos.
o Additionally, they are dealers for other brands such as TKL cases, Curt Mangan Strings, and selected products from Anton Breton, Dunlop, Flinthill, MXR, On-Stage, Perfektion, Pig Hog, Pignose, Proline, Schaller, Snark, TonePros, Trinity College, Vic Firth, and Wuhan cymbals.
2. Founder and History:
o Ron Williams, the founder, began recording in 1969 for Spar Records in Nashville when he was just 17 years old.
o He directed the Pine Breeze Traditional Music Project from 1976 to 1981. During this time, he released 8 LPs of field recordings featuring local traditional old-time fiddlers, banjo players, and other older musicians.
o These recordings preserved many previously unrecorded, obscure, and rare tunes that would have otherwise been lost.
o In 1999, Ron Williams established ASP Records, which has since released over 15 CDs and numerous online releases by artists such as:
 The Bellfuries (from Austin, TX)
 Two-time GRAMMY Award winner Michael Saint-Leon (from Nashville)
 R&R producer/musician and sound engineer Terry Montford (from Chattanooga, TN)
 Talented songwriters like Joey Simeone (from Los Angeles), Kathy Veazey (from Chattanooga, TN), and John Merriman (from Savannah, GA).
