This is a guitar just waiting for a troubadour!
For sale here is an Oscar Schmidt jazzbox hollowbody electric guitar. It was made in the 1990s-2000s. It's in great condition and plays great, this one was another trade in from "Hoss."
Hoss is approaching 80 years old, and for the past 20-30 years, he has been buying cheaper guitars (primarily Jay Tursers, Oscar Schmidt etc) and upgrading the electronics, hardware, etc to make them all really exceptional guitars. He recently had to move into a elderly living facility and pare down his collection, so he sold them to me; little by little.
Hoss put in the pickups in and rewired, I am going to guess they are GFS pickups; Hoss had a soft spot for GFS. He also liked gold hardware, so I suspect he put that on as well. He did a great job, this thing is a real singer!
As always, we cleaned it up, polished the finish, oiled the board, flushed the electronics, changed the strings and set the action as low and smooth. Comes with no case or gig bag, but I pack my guitars up tight and insure every package for the full purchase amount.
Got questions? Shoot me a message, I love nerding out with other gearheads!
