Sony CDP-CX300 300 Disc Audio CD Player. Optical Output / Serviced w Manual & Remote. Tested

Offering this Sony CDP-CX300 300 disc Changer. (serial # 8880551)

New Belts installed, cleaned and disinfected, Laser lens was cleaned as well.

remote alone is $50.00 - included - the correct one RM-DX300

 Tested over a period of days and is in excellent operating condition.

Don't take a chance with a unit that's been sitting unused for years.
You don't know how much life is left in the belts. They stretch and start working and can fail or slip at anytime. (they turn into goo and may work for a few minutes, until you get home then - BOOM)
Famous last words - - "it worked last time I used it"  ;-)
Another tell is the brightness of the display - still crisp and clear not faded and worn out.

 In addition to the traditional RCA audio output Jacks this is equipped with TOSLINK - or "Optical" output port. Perfect for connecting to an external DAC if you so desire.

Again....I've installed new belts in this.
(a pretty good sized job. Service Techs charge $185 or more)

I am very reasonable for a serviced unit in this condition.

You will also receive a reproduction of the full owners manual - all 36 pages. Believe me you need it. You can also plug in a PS2 type keyboard - there's a socket for it on the front panel so the labeling of discs in the index for those disc that aren't encoded on the compact disc is much easier. The original remote is RM-DX300 and is INCLUDED w New Alkaline Batteries.
Existing Program from previous owner has been cleared.

A few minor marks from handling and storage - please see all pictures - (it's hard to take pix of black items - some prints left from me working on it. It will get another wipedown before packing. I never ship dirty items)

I will also Include a PS2 Type Keyboard at no extra charge ( yes, cleaned too! )

Note: take a look at pricing on a famous online shopping site (AMZN) and you'll see that I am more than reasonable for a unit at this price. Min - $307 - Max $599.00 and up and you are getting a unit in great shape with the remote included. (these remotes sell for around $50 alone.)
