HAGG'd!Here for sale is a really cool project that was a collab between me and Paul Haggard at Haggtronix. Recently, I got a 2000s Danelectro Danoblaster
(the Dano that had built-in effects,) that had fired effects. I had Paul Hagg it up and that thing sold almost immediately. So, that spawned an idea -- custom, one-off built-in effects guitars.
This one actually had a built in distortion circuit and chorus straight from the factory, but by the time it made it back to me 20+ years later it was fried -- so, Paul put in one of the Haggtronix fuzzes as the new dirt circuit. Sounds GREAT. I believe there is a demo on Paul's Instagram: @haggtronix
Paul was able to save the stock chorus which sounds surprisingly really thick and lush. It is an impressive small chorus circuit - limited control, but the default sounds good. A few quick other notes: this guitar was set up with flats when we got it, so we just left them. Additionally, it was set up in Eb standard so we left that as well - sounds really cool! Ultimate heaviness.
As always, I cleaned it up, polished the finish, oiled the board, flushed the electronics, changed the strings and set the action as low as I could. I also gave the frets and fretboard a good clean and polish. This guitar has no case or gig bag, but I pack my guitars up tight and insure every package for the full sale amount.
Got questions? Shoot me a message, I love nerding out with other gearheads!
