Here for sale we have a Warwick Streamer Stage One Electric Bass in a Honey Violin Oil finish. Made in Germany in 1999, this bass features a 2-piece US Cherry body, a Maple and Ekanga Veneer Striped neck and a 24-fret Wenge fingerboard. The hardware featured on this bass consists of a Warwick -2-piece bridge system and Warwick sealed thing machines. The pickups are a set of MEC P/J style active pickups, these are wired to a Master volume, three band EQ, Push/Pull Balance Control

The Maple and Ekanga neck sits comfortably in the hand, feeling slim in profile and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning, whilst the Satin finish is fantastic for smooth, quick transitions up and down the neck. The Wenge fingerboard feels luxurious under the fingers, whilst the 20” radius and 1.4” nut width allows for ease of different techniques such as slap bass or chordal playing. The double cutaway and contoured body design allows the player to have unobstructed access to the entire register, whilst also making longer durations of playing a comfortable experience.

The MEC active pickups are warm and articulate, providing full, deep tones with subtle distorted frequencies. The active/passive push/pull control allows the user to switch between battery or passive output, this produces a crisp tone with more dynamic response on the active side, whereas the passive side is softer and reacts more to the player’s touch. This bass is capable of a wide range of tones thanks to the controls that are featured, the Blend control allows for the pickups to work together to produce a punchier, thicker sound and separate EQ’s allow the user a wide palette to explore.
