This Bass came to me with No Electronics.
Also the Piezo bridge wires had been cut.
The Original Piezo switch removed in picture 1.
I replaced the Preamp with a prewired drop-in unit.
Made by Guitar Fuel. Sounds Great (9volt power supply.)
Controls: Master volume, Stacked Bass and Treble, and stacked.
Mid sweep with Mid volume, Pick up pan. I capped the open hole.
Neck Through design, amazing sustain. Solid Flame maple body with Rosewood layer between.
6 piece body, 5 piece neck. One of Yamaha's Best Basses
Great playing Bass.
The case is beat and tolex covering started to peel. The bottom the case is painted.
I replaced the latches. The original latches get stuck.
9lbs heavy bass.
That is the only reason I am letter one go. Beautiful Basses
