The Vandoren SM711 AL3 Mouthpiece is part of Vandoren's Optimum Series of mouthpieces. This series is a product of Vandoren's research on both the external shape of the mouthpiece and the sound. They conducted this research to try and fulfill the needs of today's Saxophone players by providing exceptional roundness and it mimics more classical mouthpieces. The tip opening is 152 with a facing length of ML. If you're looking for a serious mouthpiece that will last you a lifetime, look no further than the Vandoren AL3.
