Freedom Custom Guitar Research was established in 1998 with the concept of "pursuing guitar making with free ideas.

The company has a factory in Arakawa-ku, Tokyo, and is a Japanese high-end guitar brand that has earned a high reputation for its high-quality original guitars with well-thought-out construction.

The guitar in stock this time is one of the "Retorospective series," which is produced based on traditional specifications.

It has a 2-piece alder body and a bolt-on maple neck with traditional specifications.

The frets are stainless steel frets, which are strong and rust-resistant, and produce a surprisingly straight and cloudless tone.

This is FCGR's original color chart Candy Apple Red.

It is a deep and slightly dark red color with a luxurious feel.

Indian rosewood was selected for the fingerboard.

Due to the recent shortage of Brazilian rosewood fingerboards (especially for the 5th string), FCGR was not able to supply them in time due to the much higher selection standards.

The wood grain is excellent, and the sound has been finished to have both tenacity and sound throughness as expected.

The sound is composed of low mids, which is Alder's forte, and the balance is excellent.
