Washburn Rick Savage's, Def Leppard "Storyteller" Black 5-String Bass Guitar (RS #5024) 1990s

Def Leppard is HUGE!! The band began in 1976 in Sheffield, England.  Over 100 million albums later the band is still going strong, selling out stadiums all over the planet. The band is one of few artists to earn an RIAA Diamond Award for 10 million albums sold. TWICE!!

We’re so thrilled to present the Def Leppard collection!! The collection includes hundreds of stage and tour used items from each member of Def Leppard. This massive collection includes items from every era of the band's 5 decade career. 

This Washburn XB925 5 string bass has been part of Rick Savage's Def Leppard touring arsenal of basses since 1992. Included with the bass are a collection of Def Leppard tour artifacts.

This black XB925 is one of Rick's lesser used basses, but seems to pop up at some pretty special moments. He played this bass for the entire 1999 VH-1 Storytellers show (see full video below). He later he posed with this bass in one of his most popular promo photos, and it can be seen in video of Def Leppard's 2006 performance at the Red Rock Festival. The bass shows signs of use but remains in excellent condition. Everything works as intended. Includes a heavy gig bag case.
