About This Listing

The "SR-5" has been valued by Tony Levin, Randy Hope Taylor, and other bassists with a craftsman's spirit.
This model was greatly welcomed by Japanese studio musicians when it was released in the 1990s.

The ample volume of the body, the exquisitely shaped neck, the pickups and layout inherited from the Stingray and the preamp.
Every part of this excellent instrument has been thoughtfully designed to produce the sound sought by bassists.

According to the serial number, it was produced in February 1995, and the original is a lined fretless.
It was later converted to fretted, but no defects or concerns were found and it has been treated well.
Although it is almost 30 years old, the damage to the body is negligible, and there are no scratches that would expose the wood.
There are some very small dents, but the instrument as a whole remains clean.

There is a 5mm wide and 8mm long dent on the back of the neck at the 8th fret, but we have repaired it.

There is no problem with the electrical system, so you can use this instrument with no worries.
