Ok, after spending way too much time researching this, I’ve concluded it’s what the title says it is. I looked at many Gibson SG basses and did not find a close enough match. The best I could find was a made in Japan Tokai copy (see last photo). If you believe I am wrong, corrections and comments are always welcome.
Excellent quality. Thick 3 layers. Shows heavy wear. White layer has aged nicely. Last photo is an example, it was not removed from the bass in the picture.
