Up for sale is this used 1996 Fender Roscoe Beck signature five-string bass guitar. This is a very cool early example of a very cool, and very versatile model!

This bass is in good condition for its age, but does show some wear from normal use. This includes some small scuffs and scratches and several small dings around the edges that are down to the wood. The instrument is all original with the exception of the strap buttons and a missing "F-cap" on the tone knob (pictured).

The bass has just been gone over by our tech and is currently set up with lighter strings with very low action for fast playing. The original frets are in good shape and have a lot of life left in them, but they do show some wear. There is quite a bit of fret buzz with the current set up, but nothing frets out. If you're a heavier player, you'll probably want to go with some heavier gauge strings and it will require a little additional set up. The electronics have just be sprayed out and everything works exactly as it should.

A period-correct red label Fender USA plastic molded hardshell case is included. The case is in nice condition and all of the hinges and latches are present and work as they should. The headstock fits a little tight, however. The instrument will be well-packed to ensure safe shipping.
