HOWDY PARDNER!
Here for sale is a German-made Framus Texan twelve string acoustic guitar from the late 1960s to early 1970s.
Plays pretty well -- pretty much all vintage 12 strings don't make it to being 50+ years old without a little bit of sag or neck bow. This one has some pretty heavy bow, but still plays pretty well from the 7th / 8th fret down. Feels fine in the "Cowboy Chord" area. It does get a little challenging to play around the 10th-12th. Perfect for around the house or studio. The tuners are modern replacements, the originals were missing a few keys. The originals are in the gig bag / case.
As always, I cleaned it up, polished the finish, oiled the board, changed the strings and set the action low and smooth. This guitar comes with no case or gig bag, but I pack my guitars tight and insure every package for the full purchase amount.
As with all of my pre-1980 acoustic guitars, this guitar is being sold "as is" regardless of condition. (See my shop policies for more information.)
Got questions? Shoot me a message, I love nerding out with other gearheads!
