I LOOOOOVVVVVEEE GOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLDDDDDD....

Here for sale is a particularly craggy Harmony Stratotone, under the headstock name Holiday - which were the store brand for Alden Family catalog and department stores. This one is likely from the late 1950s to early 1960s. When it came in, it was really rough. Big, gawdy rhinestones and a lot of missing parts. I sanded the front down smooth, but that was a lot of work, so I kinda just left the back textured. I resprayed the whole thing gold, hit it with gold flake and then clear coated it. The back (as I said) has a little texture, but the front is pretty smooth, so you won't be shredding your forearm or anything like that.

This guitar was made by Harmony in Chicago. Plays killer. Original Dearmond Hershey bar pickups are clear and sound fantastic, shimmery and full of tone. Neck is good and straight with excellent playability. Guitar is a remarkably good player for the age and aforementioned cragginess. Functionally, this guitar could not be sweeter. You certainly won't see another like it.

As always, I cleaned it up, polished the finish, oiled the board, flushed the electronics, changed the strings and set the action low and smooth. Comes with a Road Runner case, and I pack my stuff tight and insure every package for the full purchase amount.

Don't miss out on a vintage guitar with mojo to spare!
