Markbass Gloxy Value 5 Surf Green Maple Electric Bass

The new 5-string electric bass from Markbass features a basswood body in P Style shape, maple neck with maple fingerboard.

The neck has a C-type profile, the fingerboard has 20 frets.

The pick ups are Markbass JJ style while the electronics feature the Markbass MB preamp, with active passive switch.

The color is Surf Green and the Bass Bag is included.

For this series we managed to obtain an incredible final price thanks to the exceptional optimization of the processes reported in the

presentation above; it was a truly challenging job which saw us compare and evaluate many, many components from various suppliers,

choosing those with above average quality so that we can truly offer a superior value instrument.

> Playability / Comfort / Setting

The neck of these instruments respects the playability and comfort characteristics of the JP series, one of the characteristics they have

decreed success by being immediately appreciated by customers when they try them. Every single instrument is checked and

set by our technicians in our company in Italy according to our rigid procedures, exactly as for the higher series.

> Electronics

An absolute added value is the choice to equip the Gloxy with the same MB Instrument Pre proprietary electronics present on the

upper band. All the experience of Marco and Markbass on sound has been condensed into this electronic circuit, simple, intuitive and

effective whatever the adjustment setting without ever adding distortions on the low and mids or unwanted blows on the highs. The controls

they are always VOLUME/VOLUME/TONE (with push/pull switch on the tone pot) and with BASS/MID/TREBLE controls on the active EQ.

The differences in volume when switching from active to passive and vice versa are absolutely imperceptible, a unique and appreciated feature

any context.

> Hardware

For this series we used a vintage style sheet metal bridge instead of the proprietary bridge made in Italy, reducing costs but what

fundamental, always maintaining maximum quality on the hardware.

> Gig Bags

This range of instruments often does not come with a case and arrives wrapped in cellophane in a cardboard box, or

maximum they have a cheap carrying bag. The Gloxy comes with the fantastic MB BASS BAG DE LUXE, really

incredible but also in this case we wanted to offer much more, without compromises.
