With a trio of single-coil Custom Shop ’62 Jaguar pickups and versatile controls, it’s easy to find low-end tones that excite and inspire.  From Jack Bruce of Cream to George Harrison, Aerosmith, and even Robert Smith of The Cure, the Bass VI has served as the catalyst for some of the most interesting sounds in rock.

This Fender Custom Shop re-creation features all the hallmarks of the original: a resonant alder body cut in a striking but comfortable Jaguar body that’s easy to play for hours on end. The maple neck has a ’60s-style Oval “C” profile, topped by a 7.25”-radius round-lam rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium vintage frets. A trio of 62 Jaguar single-coil pickups serve up powerful arsenals of rich tone, while you have easy control with three on/off switches and a 'strangle switch'.
