The AIAIAI TMA-2 DJ XE is part of an innovative modular headphone system developed by the renowned audio and design manufacturer AIAIAI, based in Copenhagen. As the successor to the widely acclaimed TMA-1, the TMA-2 sets new standards in customisability, sound quality, and sustainability. Its modular concept allows all components—such as speaker units, headbands, ear pads, and cables—to be freely combined and easily replaced according to personal preferences. This results in an adaptable headphone, optimised for both professional and personal use. The DJ XE configuration presented here is distinguished by its powerful and detailed sound reproduction. At its core lies the S01 MKII speaker unit, featuring a bio-cellulose diaphragm that delivers clear highs, rich mids, and accurate bass response—ideal for DJs and music enthusiasts who favour electronic or bass-heavy genres. Thanks to its high fidelity and low distortion levels, the TMA-2 DJ XE is also well-suited for live performances and studio applications. The H01 headband is made from durable nylon and, when combined with the E02 on-ear PU foam ear pads, ensures a secure fit and excellent external noise isolation. This guarantees a focused listening experience even in loud environments. The included C05 cable is 1.5 metres long, straight in design, and provides reliable signal transmission along with ample freedom of movement during use. With its lightweight and rugged design, the TMA-2 DJ XE offers outstanding wearing comfort even during extended sessions. This headphone is not only a high-quality audio device, but also a forward-thinking product with a modular build, delivering both sonic excellence and practical versatility.
