1980 Vintage Vantage VLP520 Spirit, manufactured in the famed Matsumoku factory in Japan. Les Paul replica from the pre-lawsuit days. May be a VLP540 based on the color; research has provided inconsistent results! Based on decoding the serial number, this guitar was manufactured in September 1980.
Soft case included.
Tested to the best of my ability and as far as I can tell everything works. But I'm a drummer.
Solid mahogany body, birch top, mahogany neck, and a rosewood fretboard with inlaid mother of pearl accents. Double humbucking pickups.
Body shows some wear and tear; happy to provide more photos as needed. Three of the knobs appear to have been replaced by the prior owner.
