Original vintage c 1968 Gibson ES335-TD 12 string in gorgeous playing shape, freshly set up and jingle-jangly better than ever! The XII’s are rare byrds indeed; a standard 335 in every respect, but for the elongated headstock, and this fine example plays great as a standard 6 string too.
Original patent sticker PAF humbuckers are amazing, neck is arrow straight, perfectly intonated, and frets are excellent. -Pure player. These twelves are something of a bargain at the moment compared to their 6 string counterparts, considering they can be strung both ways! My fave is with a little vibrato, or through a Leslie/ fender vibratone setup on slow. Soooooo nasty!
Cosmetically, she’s quite lovely as well, with gobs of vintage patina and vibe, natural glow, finish and play wear, especially on the backside, when a cable may have been in the case, and treble side neck reverse, capo? slide? - all legit, all earned, all included at no extra charge. She ships in the hard case pictured.
Enjoy!
