Alembic Series II Five String Fretless Active Bass

In excellent, barely-used condition but missing the Alembic external preamp and cable (without the preamp, the LED position-marker lights on the neck do not work and the guitar's stereo function is dormant). For specific features see "Comments" section below.Except for minor indentations to the finish on the back near the center laminations, this instrument shows only minor oxidation and tarnish on some of the brass and gold-plated hardware, and some light scuffs to the finish, but no significant wear or damage.Alterations or Repairs:None are apparent

The custom options include the knobby peghead shape, Heart Omega carving detail on body, and lined fretless fingerboard which has a custom dimension of 1.8 x 2.75.  The green side LEDs wrapped in sterling silver, the gold plated hardware, and continuous wood backplates are standard on a Series II. Current retail replacement cost for a bass like this is $31,300.  Retail $11,500
