Hammond A100 road/club ready w/ road case, Leslie 860 rotating speaker and Fender Super Sonic amplifier. Custom made/chopped by Luke Jones @ Custom Vintage Keyboards in Los Angeles, CA. Luke also modified the Leslie 860 as well with better components and speaker as well. New output jacks,(both 1/4" phone and standard Leslie configuration type), volume pedal and Leslie bypass/2 speed foot control switch. I used a Fender Super Sonic amp,(pictured), that I had and it worked wonderfully so I included it, but any amp of your choice works just as well. The whole setup as pictured plays and sounds incredible. Light weight and portable,(easily packed and moved by 2 people).
I had bought & sold another B3 & 122 Leslie,(that had also been rebuilt by Luke), but it was more of a challenge to move around than I was willing to deal with, so I decided to sell it. When Luke informed me that he could make a portable road unit out of an A100 that would sound & play indentical,(as the keyboard/stops for the both models are EXACTLY the same), I jumped on it. And it does. To me, having owned both, there is no difference in sound or feel. It would be nice to have a 122 cab,(which it's wired to accept), but it's just another larger piece of equipment to haul around.
Great for anyone on the chittlin' circuit or tribute shows. Sounds killer.
P.S. Thanks to Dale for helping w/ getting the correct model & pricing info.
