This is a near mint gorgeous original 5 string bass with new GHS Bass Boomer Strings, professionally adjusted and intonated with low action and great sound including an unmatched low B tone and presence. I am selling this wonderful bass because I only play 7 string bass now. Mahogany w/ Burl Walnut Top; 3-piece maple neck thru body with ebony fingerboard. The instrument has Alembic low impendence hum canceling active Pickups with Volume, Blend, and 3-Way Q Switch. The bass will ship in a quality hard case, also in excellent condition and from a nonsmoker household. Alembic has maintained it's status as the pinnacle of bass guitar quality, style, and workmanship. This is a classic and solid example that deserves to be played and appreciated. The bass is described as excellent and near mint because of a few surface scratches seen in pictures. The bass has been kept, and will be sent in a like new (inside and out) solid hard case that still has a thin clear plastic sheet over the name "ROCKCASE" and comes with 2 keys for locking.
