This is a 1999 Stingray5 from Ernie Ball Musicman. The sound and playability of this bass guitar is out of this world. This was not gigged hard or toured. This is mostly a bedroom instrument. The bass is in near excellent condition with a few minor dents in the headstock and rear finish, see photos. Frets are in good shape with average wear.
Honeyburst is a rare color. Honeyburst was also called sunburst in years prior, but people found this confusing. EBMM also had a "Traditional" 3 color sunburst, featuring more ebony on the edge.
I've been asked about its weight. I had never even considered weighing the thing, ever. Google says they should be around 9 pounds. My neighbor's luggage scale said 20, which was not accurate. After calibrating the scale it comes in just under 8 pounds.
The bass comes with a SKB hardshell case.
