Hi! Here Luis from PedalPalFx, it has been almost a decade since I started putting the first component of our PAL800 JCM Emulator circuit on a breadboard and eight years of evolution to offer our newest model, the PAL800-V4 GOLD Overdrive. This Hot Rod JCM800 in a box contains the best of our 800 series with 3 different configurations, including an improved Mod #34 that has been the main tone of our guitar idol SLASH, all this in a smaller and easy to setup format!

The PAL800-V4 GOLD Overdrive  is a modified circuit of the JCM800 amp, replacing the vacuum tubes for very selected transistors carefully setup to perform the same way in each stage of pre-amplification, this 100% analog circuit is OP-Amp free and also clipping diodes free, all the pre-amplification and saturation are coming from the selected transistors the same way as the tubes in the JCM800 amp.

So, what is new in this version 4? apart from the smaller footprint design this new model includes the following configurations:

JCM II: In this setup we keep the original design from the PAL800 GOLD Overdrive that delivers a modern JCM800 tone.

#07: In this setup I add my favorite configuration of the Gain Voicing switch from our PAL800-V3 Gold Overdrive into the circuit, allowing you to get more tone range & structure response at the gain section.

#34: The MOD #34 is better than ever! This famous modification that can be made in a 1959SLP or JCM800 amp is the main tone or our guitar idol "SLASH" and has been improved in this new version.

As in all our M.I.A.B. units, this pedal includes the "Master Tone" trim-pot inside the main circuit board to adjust the final tone of the pedal to your taste and gear.

Each pedal is carefully setup by hand for maximum performance and tested by me, therefore it is not a massive production pedal and there will be only a few per month available on the market.
