Issue de la série Soundgear qui compte des basses de très bonne facture sur une large gamme de prix, la SR505EL est une basse électrique 5 cordes moderne de bout en bout, spécialement conçue pour les gauchers ! Ici dans une superbe version Brown Mahogany. Elle est fabriquée à partir d’un corps en okoumé aux contours très fluides caractéristiques de la série. Au niveau de la partie électronique, elle embarque deux excellents micros de type soapbar Bartolini BH-2 couplés à un préampli Ibanez Custom Electronics. Tout comme ses sœurs, la SR505EL offre une jouabilité remarquable grâce à son manche fin en cinq pièces composé de jatoba et de noyer avec sillet de 45 mm et profil SR5. Celui-ci comprend une touche en jatoba d’un radius relativement plat de 12 pouces qui permet des parties mélodiques précises et rapides. Pour un réglage encore plus fin, le chevalet Accu-cast B505 permet d’ajuster l’espacement des cordes (à la base fixé sur 16,5 mm) de plus ou moins 1,5 mm.

Coming from the Soundgear series which boasts great quality basses across a wide price range, the SR505EL is a modern 5-string electric bass through and through, specially designed for left-handers! Here in a superb Brown Mahogany version. It is made from an okoumé body with very fluid contours characteristic of the series. In terms of the electronic part, it features two excellent Bartolini BH-2 soapbar type microphones coupled to an Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp. Like its siblings, the SR505EL offers remarkable playability thanks to its thin five-piece neck made of jatoba and walnut with a 45mm nut and SR5 profile. This includes a jatoba fingerboard with a relatively flat 12-inch radius that allows for precise and fast melodic parts. For even finer tuning, the Accu-cast B505 bridge allows you to adjust the string spacing (at the base fixed at 16.5 mm) by plus or minus 1.5 mm.
