Unknown Japanese 60s - 70s - Red Sunburst Electric Guitar

I picked up this guitar at a garage sale a while ago. It caught my eye because of the grain on the new and metal hardware. It doesn't have any brand listed, or if there were letters they're since worn. The pickup was a little fuzzy. I replaced it with a cheapo single coil pickup I had laying around. Used it as a learning project. It does hold a tune well but the original tuners are definitely on their last legs. I will include the original wiring harness. Could make an excellent project guitar and have significant resell value. Very lightweight guitar and fun to jam on. Body is in good shape. There's a little neck wear by the first fret on the low E. It's definitely been around. Action is still very low. Though I didn't want to adjust it because it's the bottom of the neck adjustment style.
