Greg Byers is considered by many to be among the best classical Guitar builders of the 20th century, #18 was built for me when I was a student at SFCM. It is a beautiful example of Gregs early work , with a rich even voice that has matured beautifully. Indian Rosewood back and sides, Engelman Spruce from British Columbia Top, 655mm scale length. The bridge on this is somewhat unique, built following Gregs association with John Gilbert, the Gilbert pin bridge allows for precision in the intonation set up and a tungsten insert for optimal sound board resonance.
