Well-Hung Amp'd Radio Ga-Ga in Vox-ish upholstery cloth in brown/gold/burgundy

The Well-Hung Amp'd Radio Ga-Ga is named for the exceedingly cool upholstery fabric I found, which caught my eye as very Vox-like with 1.5" high X 3/4" wide repeating diamonds pattern in metallic gold. On the inside of each diamond is some velvety upholstery cloth in deep red/burgundy, all on a slightly satiny cinnamon brown background. All great vintage-looking colours! In fact, when I first saw it I was immediately taken back to vintage 40's style radio grillcloth types. Overall it has a vintage-meets-art-deco vibe that'll set off most any instrument if the colours are in the right neighbourhood. The fabric does have a bit of a wavy texture to it, due to the velvet layer underneath that makes the small "gems", but it doesn't detract from the cool... even adds a bit of interest. Bear in mind the one photo with the Well-Hung brassy badge is closest to the real colour. It's a difficult colour to photograph... most of the photos seem more saturated than the colour actually is, my camera wanted to do that.

On the front and back ends, plus the tail strap, find very good cowhide, in football complimentary browny red oil-tanned leather, layered for extra strength. All sewn together with heavy-duty upholstery thread, and rolled edges along the side for neck comfort.

Radio Ga-Ga strap is about 3" wide on the shoulder, and the main body has a nice slight satiny sheen. Then, with the delicate metallic gold diamond pattern, it adds elegance framing the velvety gem-like centers giving extra interest and elegance to this weave. Now I am pretty sure this is not real vintage radio or amplifier grill, but I'll be danged it if sure don' t look like it! I see this strap as genuinely ideal to pop a gold strat or tele, particularly if you were wise enough to drop a tort guard on it.

The inside lining of this strap is also a tough upholstery cloth, chosen specifically because it also has very subtle metallic threads gold running through the main "cornsilk" coloured (very light faded yellow, almost beige) weave, its not particularly slippy or grippy, more neutral as far as that goes

You will find, like many pro musicians have, they stay put where you want them to, will not chafe on your neck, and offer fantastic relief from the typical pain of lesser straps for arduous tours, gigs and long-playing / rehearsal sessions. HIGH-QUALITY ends are constructed to stay on your pin, and not break or wear out in a short period of time. Sewn with heavy-duty industrial leather upholstery thread. You will find this strap more comfortable than you are used to, but it won't sit up all poofy on your shoulder either.
