For your consideration today is a very cool, dare I say vintage 1970's era Kasuga 5 String Banjo. Plays and sounds like a good "Masterclone" should. This one has a pickup installed! It is unlabeled and has a buzz to it, but it still puts out sound. Included in this sale is the original case, what appears to be the original plastic strap AND a set of Japanese banjo strings(missing the first string but the others are NOS). Don't know the exact year or model, but judging from the tuners, bowtie inlay, checkerboard binding, and rosewood resonator, this was probably a higher rather than lower tier instrument. Neck is straight and the frets are in very good condition. Could probably use a new set of strings but I don't want to use the vintage "Pirles" brand strings. Cosmetically, this one is in nice shape but does have some checking on the back of the resonator. Don't be fooled by any glare spots, this one still has some shine to it and not very much wear. Comes with the original hardshell case so she will arrive safe and sound. Don't waste your money on the stock market. Instead of a piece of paper, get yourself a cool vintage banjo.
