Novation is entering the third generation of the Launchpad, delivering a compact and handy solution with 64 RGB pads for performers working with Ableton Live – whether in the studio, on stage or on the move. The MIDI grid controller is the smallest in the range and can be easily stowed away in almost any rucksack or bag, allowing for spontaneity and flexibility. Integration with Ableton Live enables you to control ‘stop, solo and mute’ functions and to trigger clips and scenes. The Launchpad offers three customisable modes for controlling other software via MIDI, whilst power is supplied simply via the USB-C bus (Mac & PC).

Despite its compact size, the Launchpad Mini MK3 comes with a pretty comprehensive software package. With Ableton Live Lite and Cubase LE, you can start recording, arranging and performing straight away, whilst the AAS Session Bundle, Addictive Keys Studio Grand and Klevgrand effects provide you with a range of useful sounds and creative tools right from the start. There are also Melodics lessons to help you practise your finger-drumming, as well as Novation Components to customise the pad layout to suit your own workflow.

The Easy Start wizard guides you step by step through the setup process and makes it easy to get started with the Launchpad Mini MK3 workflow.

The Novation Launchpad Mini MK3 is now not only optimised for Ableton Live, but also fully compatible with Cubase 14 and Logic Pro X. Thanks to its enhanced MIDI support and dynamic modes, the Launchpad Mini MK3 can be seamlessly integrated into the workflows of these DAWs. In Cubase, it enables intuitive control of instrument tracks, effects and mix parameters, whilst in Logic it really comes into its own during live performances and when triggering clips.
