The Ernie Ball EB2023 Paradigm Super Slinky Electric Guitar Strings 09-42 is a set of strings with a gauge of 09-42 and an ultra-high strength steel core. The new Paradigm range are touted as the strongest and most break-resistant strings on the market thanks to a new state-of-the-art wire drawing process coupled with the patented RPS (reinforced plain string) technology that dramatically increases tensile strength by up to 35% and provides up to 70% more fatigue strength than traditional strings. The Paradigm wrap wire uses a plasma-enhanced process to remove defects and greatly improve corrosion resistance. After the strings are wound, the patented Everlast nanotechnology is applied that affects how these strings react to moisture and oils.

The Paradigm Electric Slinky sets provide an unprecedented level of strength and longer string life whilst retaining 100% Slinky tone and feel. Ernie Ball's ultra-high strength steel is included in both the wound and plain strings to provide superior tensile and fatigue strength for strings that lock into tune fast and hold up under the most stressful playing styles and conditions. As the new Paradigm Series is proclaimed by Ernie Ball to be the strongest and most durable guitar strings on the planet, if your strings break or rust within 90 days of purchase, they promise to replace them.
