The sound is as dark as the oven blackened look. The cymbals of the Byzance Dark series offer the perfect symbiosis of articulate stick attack and open crash sounds. A very versatile cymbal.

Byzance Dark

The cymbals really live up to the name. The Meinl Byzance Dark cymbals are as dark as they come in terms of sound and look. All Byzance Dark moderls have a very intense, unique sound character with dark, mystic brilliance. The relatively short sustain make the cymbals very precise and controlled for complex right patterns and short, cutting crash accents.

Byzance Dark Big Apple Ride

The Big Apple Ride pays tribute to the New York Jazz scene and provides a very traditional, old school sound. The small bell and the strong arch produce a full, crisp sound. The raw finish results in a very short sustain.

• Sound: very dark; full, controlled sound
