Ampex MM-1200 16-Track 2" Analog Tape Machine w/ extras Dennis Herring #49353

WORKING CONDITION: Non-Functional - Powered on, VU meters were acting crazy. Revving sound as if the motors were trying to activate but not doing so. Powered down out of precaution. We presume that the power supply needs some work. Its been several years out of service but at one point was being nicely maintained and making albums not too long ago! Needs some TLC. 
 
PHYSICAL CONDITION: Good - There are some scuffs, dings and general wear around the machine. The pinch roller is starting to deteriorate and will need to be replaced. The front doors are missing and not included. Otherwise, all knobs, buttons, and internal parts are intact. Overall, the physical condition is good.
