I am regretfully selling my 1966 Rickenbacker RM1999 as restored by Paul Wilczynski circa 2013 and has remained a case queen.
The instrument received a full refinish and new upper body wing (prev. owner had sanded it down), great lengths went to ensure almost all electronics and hardware are period correct. For example, the refinish is a period-correct multi-coat conversion varnish, the tailpiece was replated by one of the only companies in the US still using original methods, etc.
I have attached the appraisal that details all the work done, which components are new or replicated, etc.

Appraised at $13,500 in 2018, which is ~$16,500 adjusted for inflation.
