Here is a rare late teens koa soprano Martin ukulele in all original condition. It comes with the original friction tuners that hold pitch very well and even the original bottom loading soft shell case. The only minor repairs include a tiny 1 cm split on the back near the heel which has been neatly repaired and a plug on the bottom side. A nice piece of flamed koa was used for the plug and it was likely done originally at the Martin factory when it was made. It is featherlight weighing in at just over half a pound (9oz) and is amazing resonant as you would expect from such a light build. The original bar frets are in great shape and the neck angle is excellent allowing for fast low action. Original Martin ukuleles from this era are very difficult to come by because of how delicately they were built, ones in this condition even more so. At over 100 years old, this little Martin plays and sounds great!
