An all original Style 1K koa uke by Martin. This uke is light as a feather and very loud and resonant. The top is crack free. There is one repaired 3" crack on the back, and there is a side crack on the bass side that was repaired and reinforced. The side crack starts at the neck and extends to the end block. The crack repairs were done 42 years ago, in 1975.
The uke has a straight neck, good action, and sounds wonderful. The rosewood friction pegs work perfectly and do not stick or slip - they function as well as a good quality set of mechanical tuners. Sold with a new padded bag.
