Vintage 1960's Kingston Hollowbody Bass Guitar Project for Parts or Restoration

This listing is for a Vintage Kingston Hollowbody
Electric Bass Guitar. This bass was made in Japan in the 1960's and
could be a really cool bass. Unfortunately this bass has seen better
days and will need a complete and total restoration. The bass is missing
parts and will need a complete and total restoration. The bass is
missing the bridge and the electronics are all messed up. I was able to
tap test the neck pickup but got nothing out of the bridge pickup. The
wiring harness is inside the bass but the bass will still need some
serious electronic work and may need some of the electronics replaced
and likely the bridge pickup will need to be rewound or replaced. The
neck is pretty straight with no tension on it. The truss rod is working
but is all the way released. Without putting a bridge on the bass and
stringing up the bass it is impossible to know what the bass will need
to make it play properly. The bass shows heavy wear and finish checking
and has lots of nicks, dings and scratches all over the bass. There is
what appears to be a crack in the back of the neck as well, see pics.
This bass is being sold complete AS-IS in Non Working and will need a
complete and total restoration. No case but the bass will be expertly
