Vintage 1960’s vintage Teisco short scale bass. Made in Japan 1960’s. This is being sold as is project. All original including electronics with except of 1 replacement tuner and missing 1 tuner. Body has a lot of finish checking. There is a curved crack at neck connection to headstock although it seems pretty stable even strung with 3 strings to pitch it did not move or open up. The volume and tone control work properly. Only the bridge pickup seems to work. The neck pickup gets a sound but it is at low volume. It could be a damaged dead pickup or it could be the plastic on/off switch button. pickups are stamped Japan and are very loud and have a truly great tone. Truss rod is functioning properly. A great project for an easy restoration or to be parted out.
