You’ll either like or hate the looks of this bass, but no doubt that it’s an eye catcher on stage. As an instrument on the other hand, everyone will agree it’s killer.
The pu’s are well balanced with a lot of headroom, and the 18v Aguilar OPB2 pre amp I built in really let’s them shine. Tonally the open headstock (placing the tuners in a straight position) and the string through body deliver natural sustain.
When this bass was used on stage or in the studio, it made the sound engineers smile. Next to that it’s a very lightweight and nicely balanced.
