We are pleased to offer up this one off Drake Custom fretless bass, available for purchase. Whether you want to cover some Primus tunes or just add a cool bass to your collection, this bass is something special. Specs: 1 pc. QS roasted Maple neck with a super dark ebony fingerboard. The neck has two dual action truss rods and an asymmetric neck carve. 34 inch scale with Maple fretlines. The detailed custom branch inlay work is all hand work that along with the fingerboard, is epoxy sealed in gloss with very little signs of wear. The body is roasted Basswood with bookmatched Spalted Maple facings. Spalted Maple pickup covers house some Aguilar HC jazz pickup cores. Any 6 string jazz pickup core can easily be swapped into the covers, if the new owner chooses to do so. Custom made Ebony knobs topped with Spalted Maple. Hipshot dual tone black/gold hardware. There are three, yes 3, Hipshot D-tuner devices on the bottom strings. Gold Dunlop strap button and strap gear is included. The electronics cavity has a magnetic attached cover and is shielded. Inside rests an Aguilar 3 band EQ with switchable mids (via push pull mid knob). The bass is wired volume with a blend control. The volume knob pulled out is a bypass for the preamp. Bass and Treble controls are the stacked knobs. The instrument is finished in a durable gloss. Finish condition is better than 90%. Some slight shrink back to the finish, but it has moved all it will. Nut: 2.13" wide and 3.42" at the heel, 18mm spacing at the bridge and a balanced 9.8 pounds. This bass comes complete with a Mono Vertigo case that is in "Like New" condition. I am extending the warranty as I have inspected the instrument and feel it is in excellent condition. The truss rods are in their center position and the neck has not moved since it left my shop years ago. I have strung the bass with a new set of D'Addario flatwounds. Please note that when the pictures were taken, I had not received the flatwound C string, and a roundwound string is standing in. When the bass ships, it will have the proper string installed.
