She got the ironic name of "Big Ugly" in the studio from all the cats that rolled through and fell in love with her. No idea what year, but at some point before I got her, someone took the frets out and filled the fretboard. I was not a huge fan of this until I found that most cats don't regularly play fretless but sometimes want that sound...well, for someone not used to playing fretless, the lines make it a lot easier. Sounds great live or in the studio and if you want that classic upright sound but don't have one, a pack of tape-wound strings get you as close as one can get without dropping some serious $$$. 34" scale. I am leaving the sound projection device I put in it when I first got her as it just makes her even louder than she already was. Great instrument and hate to part with her, but she doesn't get used much these days and I would rather her go to a home where she will be played. I apologize for the ridiculous shipping charges, but holy cow is it pricy to ship a guitar these days. If you can find a better deal on shipping, I will happily pack it well and put your label on it and take it wherever you want it shipped from.
