This is a genuine Fender "re-voiced" Wide Range humbucking neck pickup from a 2013 FSR American Vintage '72 Telecaster Custom guitar. According to Fender's description for the original guitar "...including a Fender Wide Range humbucking neck pickup redesigned and re-voiced to sound even more like a 1970s pickup." I'm not sure what all was involved with this but it appears to be underwound to 6k which would explain why it has more clarity and tone than the typical reissue Wide Ranges in the Mexican models (usually between 7-8k). Either way I know it sounds great!
