1920s Bacon Blue Ribbon tenor banjo project. 20” scale, 17 fret. 11 1/2” head. 26 brackets. Sold AS-IS for parts or restoration project.
Neck is badly warped. Pop-on resonator plate is missing. Back wooden trim is missing from pot. All hardware appears original, with exception of several shoe bolts and washers. Missing two bracket hooks and two nuts. Beautiful carving and inlay on neck. 1st fret pearl inlay missing.
These are somewhat rare, and sound wonderful when setup. Comes from estate of luthier in SW Kansas. We do not have any of the missing pieces, sorry. Comes with non-original period hardshell case.
Worthy project for someone willing to put time into it.
