The Infinite is characterized by its ultra-thin all-lacquer paint and realistic aged finish, but this model is painted with urethane paint and has no aged finish.

Some may wonder if this is a downgrade.　In fact, it is not a downgrade.

In fact, there are many high-end guitars costing hundreds of thousands of dollars or more with urethane coating.

The urethane coating helps to create a modern and smooth tone by not overdoing the sound.

Although the model name is "Trad," it is actually a very logical specification for Infinite, which makes guitars with a relatively modern sound.

The body is made of well-selected Selected Alder for a very well-balanced finish.

The fingerboard is made of Madagascar rosewood!　This is a rare spec nowadays, as it has become difficult to obtain and many companies have stopped using it.

It is also a very good wood with a very dark and dense texture. Since most of Madagascar Rose woods are bright in color, you can not find this kind of wood if you look for it.

It is harder than Indian Rose and has acoustic characteristics similar to Hakaranda. It has the best influence on the sound as well as the looks.

The position marks are made of clay dots, so it has a vintage-like texture.

In recent years, it is not uncommon to see Stratocaster type guitars with contours and heel cut to improve playability.

However, it is a fact that the original tone of the Stratocaster is lost due to the processed mass compared to the traditional style.

This model has a heel-contoured joint with a very large gouge, and boasts high playability for both large and small hands.

But does it lose its traditional tone?　...... is no such thing.

First of all, the joint is equipped with our original "small chrysanthemum logic". There are three grooves on the body side and a convexity made of ebony on the neck side.

By tightly fitting these grooves, the ground surface is increased and sustain is secured.

The fingerboard is similarly grooved on the fingerboard side and convex on the neck side to increase strength and transmit string vibration from the neck to the body.

The lacquer coating also allows the body to vibrate well, producing an acoustic sound without losing the low feel.

The frets are Jescar 47095-S, which are larger than the Vintage style frets, ensuring a high level of playability for both choking and sliding.

Stainless steel frets have high wear resistance and are maintenance free, so they can be used for a long time.

Fingerboard radius is 10"-14", which is relatively flat.

The truss rod can be adjusted at the neck end. The truss rod is glued with high technology to ensure no gaps, resulting in a very effective finish.

The controls are also unique, and although it looks like a traditional 1Vol, 2Tone, it is actually 1Vol, 1Tone.

The knob in the original center tone position is a blender-like circuit.

When the knob is in the front position, the center pickup is mixed with the series connection.

It can be used like an HSH, so it is very versatile and useful when a thicker and more powerful tone is needed.

The Trad ST has only two knobs (1Vol, 1Tone) and a side jack, but this has been changed to a top jack with the same controls as the Fullsize.

The pegs are also locking pegs, making the specs quite easy to use.

All Infinite guitars are equipped with Bare Knuckle pickups.

Halfbreed single coils are used. This pickup is a mixture of the classic Vintage Tallboy and Muy Grande pickups, and although it is a single coil, it has a solid fatness like a humbucker.

The power is also high, so it can be used with higher drive.

The rear humbucker is a BBQ-Bucker. This is another gem in the Rio Grande lineup with high power and Vintage nuance.

The mid and low frequencies are boosted, and the tuning is exquisite, with a fat yet clear sound.

What surprised me when I actually played it was the silky and smooth drive sound output, which is unimaginable from such a small body.

This is not to say that there is no bite, but rather a thick, smooth distortion sound that is pleasant and distinctly different from other SSH layouts.

In addition, all Infinite models come standard with the Buzz Feiton tuning system. It produces a more accurate pitch than ever before.

To get the most out of the BFTS, it is necessary to use a dedicated tuner or a special tuning method. However, the pitch can be used with normal tuning as well.
