About This Listing

This is a used guitar. The item pictured is the one you will receive. It has been tested and gone over by the experts at our shop. When a guitar is purchased from us it undergoes a final setup check before shipping to ensure it's playing optimally. It is then packed with care and shipped to your door! (But please be aware that it may need slight tweaks upon arrival due to weather differences, jostling during shipping, etc.). Please read the description carefully and check over all photos for condition and wear. We do our best to describe all items as best as possible and note any wear we find, but please be considerate that it is a used piece and it won’t be perfect (Unless noted as "Mint Condition" or "10/10" for condition). If you have any questions about this or any other piece of gear we have, please let us know and we'll be happy to help!

-------------------------

Condition Notes:

- Condition: 8/10

- Fret wear: None (Stainless steel!)

- Any wear of note: There's some normal general wear, like light swirling throughout, a few small light dings here and there, as well as some slightly deeper than surface level scratching (mainly on the back, worst of which is pictured). There's also some carving at the bottom of the back spring/tremolo cavity that seems to have been professionally done. The carving is sort of under where each spring would be if they were positioned straight from the block to the claw (maybe with the outer springs angled in). Assumably done to combat any of the spring hitting the wood in that area while being used.

- Other notes: There isn't much info on these old Deviser's. But they're really incredible guitars! Very high quality construction, feel and components. It was professionally re-fretted with extra jumbo stainless steel frets and it feels amazing! The body/back appears to be alder but we aren't sure and neither is the previous owner. But the flame maple top is utterly gorgeous and the figuring and accentuated beautifully by the sort of honey-burst type finish. The neck is thin, but not Wizard thin. Thin enough where it's a shredder, but not so thin where it feels like you're playing a little plank of wood. The ebony fretboard adds that nice spank tonally and is a really nice rich deep dark cut of wood. We don't know what model the pickups are, but they sound amazing. The bridge pickup is clear and handles gain really well, but it isn't so hot that it blows the single coils out of the water in output. And the single coils are spanky and articulate. Really a sweet sounding set of pickups. There was also a trem-setter added. Includes tremolo bar and a gig bag.
