Here we have a very RARE Harmony branded Matsumoku VA-800 Phantom.
This looks and feels like a VA-800.
Plays nice with a chunky C-neck (like 50s Les Paul).
This has a SG body style except with a thru neck body for long sustains.
This is a quality guitar made of tone woods out of Matsumoku factory.
The pickups sound excellent.
Sporting dual humbuckers that are super strong and fat for bluesy leads.
The one also sports the original wiring including a coil tap switch that turns the pickups into single coils.
Humbucker tones and single coil taps make sound possibilities limitless.
If you are looking for a unique rare guitar that sounds great this is the one for you.
This is all original as far as I can tell.
Has some minor dents dings on neck and body. A few small screws missing.
Something unique...this guitar has a brass nut and brass dot inlays. Super cool.
Rosewood fret board.
