G&L Legacy Tribute Natural Gloss 2003 Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a G&L Legacy Tribute in Natural Gloss finish. Built in 2003, this guitar features an Alder body, a Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard, 22 Jumbo frets, a G&L dual-fulcrum vibrato, along with a trio of G&L single coil pickups, wired to a master volume, a PTB tone system and a 5-way blade switch.

The satin ‘C’ profile neck plays well, giving a fluid and comfortable playing surface. The dual cutaways provide great access to the upper register and the Jumbo fret wire is a joy to bend on, feeling rock solid.

The G&L single coil pickups sound glassy and clear, with deep, rich lows, a clear midrange, and crisp, articulate highs. The PTB (passive treble and bass) EQ system is a simple yet forward thinking solution to tonal control on an electric guitar, offering much more flexibility than a vintage setup. The tone pot closest to the volume cuts treble as you roll it down and the rear tone pot cuts bass. Because the EQ is cut-only the circuit can be passive, eliminating the need for 9v batteries as you usually would with onboard EQ. Overall an excellent guitar for the money, offering a traditional feel with modern appointments.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Light imperfections are visible to the headstock but no significant signs of wear.

Neck: Offers a smooth playing surface and shows minimal signs of wear, a couple of light indents can be seen to the finish under bright lighting not affecting playability.

Body: Light finish indents are visible to the finish and visible to the sides mostly where it looks as though the lacquer has been impacted. It has not chipped.

Condition of Frets:

Shape and condition is very good

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod Condition: Fully functional & can be adjusted

Hardware Condition: Fully functional with light signs of wear - There is no tremolo arm with the guitar or rear grub screw to hold it secure.

Structural Condition: No concerns or issues to note

Height of the string from the 12th Fret- Treble 1.5mm - Bass 2mm
