Soldano X88R in good condition. All functions work perfectly and all three channels sound amazing.
This is the holy grail of Soldano rack preamps and found in many studio racks of the pros. These are getting incredibly hard to find. Soldano offers a LIFETIME transferable warranty on three of its highest quality products, and this preamp is one of them! The X88R is hand-built using only the finest components available. Michael Soldano has estimated these would cost over $5,000 to produce currently.
The circuit is based off of the highly coveted Soldano SLO100. It has three entirely separate preamps (Clean, Crunch, and Overdrive) which offer tones ranging from Fender cleans to singing distortion. Channel switching is noise free and is accessible via three 1/4" jacks located on the back panel, or through the 5-pin jack with a custom built footswitch.
I am including a simple shorting plug so the buyer can try out the channels without a footswitch. There are several inexpensive options for 3-button footswitches that work with this preamp (Traynor AFS3 or Crate CFP3/CFS3).
