A very unique and interesting guitar ..... A 68 Les Paul custom that was renecked by James D’Aquisto and fitted with a D'Aquisto tailpiece, bridge and pickguard ( bridge and pickguard are not the originals made by Jimmy, but are faithful copies of what he had made for the guitar). The maple D’Aquisto neck is 1 3/4” wide at the nut and has 25 1/2” scale length.
Pickups are Gibson "T top" pat numbers. Guitar plays beautifully and sounds fantastic.
An interesting piece of history and an insight into the work and modifications Jimmy D'Aquisto would sometimes do along side his own custom instruments.
