The G6228TG Players Edition Jet catches your eye with its understated Walnut Stain finish, and grabs your ear with the tone from its resonant, chambered mahogany body with arched maple top. The result is a great look, punchy, controlled attack, incredible articulation and handleable weight.
A pair of Tim Shaw-designed Broad’Tron BT-65 pickups produce a blend of power and clarity, with plenty of mids, extended low end and articulate, smooth highs. Each pickup has its own volume control—plus a master volume with treble bleed circuit and master tone—to let you shape your sound any way you like. The mahogany neck features a lowered neckset and tapered heel for comfort, and ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl big block inlays for an upscale look.
Additional features include gold-plated hardware—including a pinned Adjusto-matic bridge, Gotoh locking tuners, classic G-Arrow knobs and Bigsby vibrato tailpiece—and a hardshell case.
